A little less than a year ago, Google released an Android app called “Field Trip”. Put simply, the app would run constantly in the background, and whenever you’d pass an important landmark, it would beep at you and tell you to read a Wikipedia page about what you were seeing. In March of this year, the app came to iOS. Today, it’s now on Glass.
