As the Chairman of Google, it doesn’t come as a surprise when Eric Schmidt promotes Android, but in a rather unusual move, he took to Google+ to help his friends make the switch with a detailed step-by-step guide, who he says are switching from iPhone to Android.He writes: It is also interesting that he compares the switch from “iPhone to Android” like the switch from the “PC to the Mac and never switch back.” Schmidt’s “Converting to Android from iPhone” guide if fairly detailed. It includes how to set up the device, install the latest Android software update, add Gmail accounts, import Contacts, sync music using Google Music Manager, manually syncing photos etc and even finer details such as disabling iMessage before making the switch. I doubt Apple’s CEO Tim Cook will respond with his own guide to switch from Android to iPhone.
