According to DigiTimes, the Taiwanese supply chain rumor website that makes technology journalists want to rip their hair out, the second generation Nexus 7 will be on store shelves next month (July) and it’ll cost at least $229. It’ll come with 16 GB of internal storage, though there’s no word as to whether or not that’ll be expandable via microSD. I doubt it.
So what do we know about this thing? It’ll likely have a high resolution screen, either 1080p or 1920 x 1200. As for the processor, it’ll be from Qualcomm, though I don’t know if it’ll be the company’s weaker Snapdragon 400, the current flagship Snapdragon 600, or the future top of the line Snapdragon 800.
