Dell has confirmed to PCWorld that it will discontinue its Venue line of Android tablets. It will also stop releasing software updates for all of its current Venue tablets — a move that is bound to leave a bad taste in the mouth of many Dell Venue tablet owners.  The company will however continue to provide warranty and repair support for the devices. A company’s spokesman said that it is taking this move due to the declining demand from consumers and the over-saturation of the market. Instead, the company will be focusing its resources on 2-in-1s that seem to be gaining popularity among customers. While none of Dell’s Android tablets particularly sold like hot cakes, the company did release some interesting tablets. The Venue 8 7000 being a prime example with its sleek design, OLED display, and a 3D RealSense camera. In addition to Android tablets, Dell will also stop selling Wyse Cloud Connect, a tiny computer that could be connected to a monitor.
