A relatively unknown Google Play Store alternative, Playphone, today announced a partnership with Cyanogen Inc. The partnership will see Cyanogen Inc. include the Playphone store with its Cyanogen OS in “key international markets” of the world. The Playphone store does not list apps though. The store is primarily known for listing games and has a community revolving it. Currently, the store lists over 4,000 different games, and has features like gamer rewards, free game of the day, Playphone wallet, and more. In late April this year, Cyanogen Inc. announced a “strategic partnership” with Microsoft that will see it pre-load certain apps and services from the company on Cyanogen OS.
