On Thursday, July 2, Chevrolet officially introduced a brand new feature into a few of its 2016 model year vehicles, which will hopefully keep some owners’ phones from overheating while charging. Corning today announced a new iteration of its popular Gorilla Glass for future smartphones. Gorilla Glass 6 is more durable than Gorilla Glass 5 with Corning saying it can withstand drops up to two times better than its predecessor.
