The CyanogenMod team today announced that they have fully merged the AOSP build of Android 5.1_r3 with their code base, and have implemented most, if not all, the features of CM12 to it. This means that official CM12.1 nightlies, based on Android 5.1 Lollipop, should now start rolling out sometime soon. The team also mentions in its blog post that CM12 users will be able to ‘dirty flash’ to CM12....

CyanogenMod today announced support for a bunch of mid-range devices from Huawei, Motorola, Xiaomi, and other less known manufacturers. The team notes that Huawei’s team directly helped them adding support for their devices, which includes the Honor 4 and Honor 4x, the Ascend Mate 2, and Snapto. In a very surprising move, Facebook has updated its Facebook Home launcher to add support for Instagram, Flickr, Pinterest and Tumblr. The update will allow users of Facebook Home, if any, to see content from the above social media services right on their lock screen.
